The historic buildings of the city and university are nearby as well as the many museums are nearby. Magdalen College along with its boathouse where you can go punting (www.oxfordpunting.co.uk), is literally across the road from us.  Oxford's Botanical Gardens are directly opposite Magdalen Bridge (www.obga.ox.ac.uk).

Back in the 17th Century, many of our guests required stables and accommodation for their servants. To satisfy their needs,behind the Inn, a large yard was constructed with suitable outbuildings. Today, with far fewer travellers arriving by carriage or on horseback we have converted these outbuildings into delightful, self-contained suites.
